DoubleTree by Hilton Kyoto Station to Open in March 2024®️

DoubleTree by Hilton Kyoto Station , which opened in March 2024, is conveniently located about a 5-minute walk from the Hachijo Exit of JR Kyoto Station.
This 266-room hotel is a rebranded version of the Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kyoto Grande, and features a design that blends Kyoto tradition with modernity. It has a restaurant, cafe, fitness center, and an executive lounge on the top 9th floor.
As of 2025, there are only two DoubleTree hotels in Japan with executive lounges: one at Kyoto Station and one at Osaka Castle.
This time, I booked a queen guest room through HPCJ for 13,452 yen and stayed there.
1. Access from the station
-
From JR Kyoto Station, exit the Hachijo exit, turn left and cross the traffic lights.
- There is no parking lot, but you can get a discount ticket for the Times Parking Lot next door at the front desk for 1,000 yen/24 hours after parking.

2. DoubleTree by Hilton Kyoto Station
When you enter the hotel, you will feel a Japanese atmosphere reminiscent of Kyoto.

When you enter the room, the air purifier is on 😊 It's a thoughtful touch.

There was a water server at the desk, but they also provided canned mineral water 😊

Overall ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
⭐️
The DoubleTree has an executive lounge and a wide variety of breakfast options. Parking is available for 1,000 yen, but due to construction nearby, there were no spaces available until after 5pm, which was a challenge.
😄 A wide variety of breakfast options and an executive lounge 😄 The restaurant on the first floor offers great deals during happy hour 😄 Bathroom with a washing area
😢 I'd be happy if it was a one-piece dress.
