Hilton Hotel, located within walking distance of Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport

JAL Award Tickets to Paris
Since our scheduled arrival time at Charles de Gaulle Airport was 17:55, it would be convenient to stay near the airport on the first day.
There are several hotels near the airport, but the Hilton Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport is within walking distance , so check out its website.
This time, I booked a king-bedded guest room (the cheapest of the three other ranks: Deluxe Executive) with a plan that allowed cancellation up until the day before, for 148.31€ (it would have cost around 130€ if it had not been cancelable).

⬜️Basic information and reviews
1. Access from the airport
- JAL and AF flights generally arrive at Terminal 2E. ANA flights arrive at Terminal 1 and then take the CDGVAL (free airport shuttle train) to Terminal 3.

- After getting off the shuttle, head towards the bus stop and you will see the hotel behind the Roissy pole bus stop.

- In early April, it's light until after 9pm, so you can move around safely even in less crowded areas.

- Terminal 3 is mainly used by low-cost carriers and charter flights, and depending on the time of day it seemed quite sparsely populated.

2. Hilton Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport
I checked in at the lobby on the first floor. I was a Gold member, but I was given access to the Executive Lounge.
There is also a self-service convenience store next to the lobby.
The corridor opened in 1994, so it's about 30 years old, so it feels a bit historic (though it didn't feel old at all).

This time, the room is 221

From the entrance to the back

The room. The tables are small.

Corner. I think there's a refrigerator underneath, but I forgot to even open it...

Closet. There was a wall-mounted iron and ironing board leaning against it.

On the other side, there is a safety deposit box and

The iron is hanging in a bag

Is there a gown on top? I have a reservation for two people...

In addition to the European-style outlets, there were USB and Type 2 charging outlets on both sides of the bed.

It's a large TV, but it looks small in a large room.

Drink corner. Water was drawn from the water purifiers on each floor, and coffee was instant.

When using the room with two people, the chairs at the table will need to be moved.

bedside

Air conditioning. Is it in Fahrenheit because the person staying the night before is from the US? I'm not sure if it can be changed to Celsius.

The bathroom. The large sink was easy to use and I was able to spread out my toiletries.

Large bathtub

The toilet is not a washlet type.

There is also a shower booth (not pictured, but of course it has a rain shower).

A great magnifying glass for seniors 😊

The view from the window. If you look down, you can see the parking area. There are also rooms with a good view of the runway, so it might be a good idea to request one when you check in.

3. Executive lounge and other facilities
- Executive lounge next to the lobby on the 1st floor
- 6:30-23:00, 17:30-19:30 happy hour
The red wine bottle was empty, but I asked for a new one.

Salad bar Everything in front was fresh paste
There were two families with children, so the lounge time was quite lively.

Overall ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
When taking a flight that arrives at CDG airport after the evening, I can save about 100 euros on accommodation by staying at the airport on the first day rather than going straight into the city and staying overnight, and I also don't have to pay for food by using the lounge.
This time, I was unable to have breakfast due to an early morning check-out, but next time I would definitely like to plan to have breakfast.
In addition to the Hilton (four-star), there are also the following hotels near the airport:
- Novotel Paris Charles de Gaulle Terminal (Four stars)
- Pullman Paris Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport ( 4 stars)
- Citizen M Paris Charles de Gaulle ( 4 stars)
- Ibis Styles Charles de Gaulle Airport (Three stars)
- Hotel Ibis Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (three stars)
😄 Just a few minutes walk from Terminal 3, you can use the airport shops after checking in. 😄 There's a self-service convenience store in the lobby. 😄 I was very happy as I was able to save about 100 euros compared to the city. 😄 Although I didn't use it, there is a gym and a small pool.
