Since the opening of the Hokuriku Shinkansen in 2015, a number of hotels have opened in front of Toyama Station, making it even more convenient.

In January 2025, the New York Times selected Toyama City as one of its "52 Places to Go in 2025," and in addition to the Glass Museum, the DoubleTree by Hilton Toyama was also featured in an article with comments from the author, further increasing the city's popularity.

This time, I stayed at the hotel as a stopover on my way back from the Tohoku region, and booked it through HPCJ for 19,112 yen.

• From JR Toyama Station, exit the South Exit, go south in front of the Maruto Building on the right, and cross the traffic lights.　
  
• There are no affiliated parking lots, but we recommend the Times Marut Parking Lot, which costs 1,300 yen/24 hours after entry.

Guest rooms are located on the 4th to 13th floors.

There are three room types: Guest, Deluxe, and Premium, with king and double beds available, and suite types are also available in Deluxe and Premium.

The guest type has a shower booth. The deluxe and premium types have a bathtub. Furthermore, the premium types seem to be located on higher floors.

This time, I was upgraded from a "King Guest Room" to a "King Deluxe Room", but it was a connecting room on the 5th floor, which was quite disappointing.

From the entrance to the room, the door on the right leads to the next room.

The bed is 180cm wide and the room is 26 square meters.

Convenient bedside wireless charging

When I opened the door next to the closet, I found a basket and towels for the large bath.

There is also a safety deposit box, separate loungewear, and slippers available below.

On the fourth floor and above, where the baths are located, you can move around in your pajamas and slippers. Towels are provided at the baths, so you only need to bring your own bath towel from your room.

Mineral water is the type that you have to go to the water dispenser to get.

The refrigerator is a cooler type. There was a note that it cannot cool room temperature food.

Overall ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

I was upgraded to a room with a bathtub, but it was a connecting room on a lower floor with a view of the building, which was quite disappointing.

Using the Diamond Benefit drink voucher, we enjoyed delicious wine at a window seat at "korare WINE AND DINE" on the second floor and also enjoyed the sauna.

For breakfast, they offer a popular self-serve seafood bowl, and I would like to return when it's cheaper.
