Try the mist shower "Mirable" at HOTEL MONTEREY AKASAKA

Hotel Monterey Akasaka opened in April 2007 and is designed with the theme of providing a welcoming atmosphere in a townhouse with a classical British style that blends in with the streetscape of Aoyama-dori.
All rooms are non-smoking and offer the ultra-fine mist "Mirable."

1. Access from Akasaka-mitsuke Station
- The closest exit to the hotel is "A." However, since it is closed after 10 PM, the route guidance is for those leaving from "10."

- Take the escalator on the left side of the ticket gate and head to the back alley on the right

- Go right down the back street and turn left at the first corner (Aoyama-dori). The red frame on the right is Exit "A," so if you plan to stay until 10pm, we recommend this exit.

- Go straight up Aoyama-dori Street, which is a gentle incline. The nearest convenience store is Lawson, located next to the footbridge.

- Continue walking for a while and the building on the left in the red frame is Hotel Monterey Akasaka

2. Hotel
- The front desk was face-to-face, and the atmosphere was calm. Since I had already paid in advance, I was able to check in smoothly and was able to go to my room without having to pick up any amenities.

- There is an elevator, and the guest rooms are on the 3rd to 13th floors, with a restaurant and chapel on the 2nd floor. I made this reservation through Ikyu's "Special Offer - Points up to 17x!", offering a single room rate of 13,000 yen (with 17% points redeemed immediately) for a total of 10,790 yen. I've always used "Jalan" to book hotels, but this year I switched to Ikyu's reservation site because it's easy to use and convenient, and I'm currently training to become a Diamond member (I'm currently Platinum).

- Aisles, slightly thick carpet

- On the floor map, Aoyama Street is on the left. Unfortunately, the lower (west) side of the 5th floor is surrounded by the Toraya building, so there is almost no view.

- Mirable shower head

- I tried it briefly at the Monterey Hanzomon Hotel in February, but as the instructions said, the mist felt very cold, so I stopped using it immediately. This time, I tried it again, but perhaps because of the season, it didn't feel particularly cold, and after a while of showering with the mist, my face felt different than usual. Next time, I'd like to try it for a full-body treatment. Click here for the official Mirabelle online store.

- Shampoos

- Kao's Leana, is it common to the Montre Group?

- Hair dryer on the desk

- toilet

- The view from the window, if you look down you can see a bit of greenery. I think the view would be better if you were on a higher floor.

Overall ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
😄 Mirable Shower (not recommended in winter though...) Mirable Online
😄 The bathroom has been renovated and is not outdated, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable.
😩 Access from Akasaka-mitsuke Station is a bit inconvenient and a gentle uphill climb.
😩 The coffee is instant, not drip.
