Does KEISEI RICHMOND HOTEL in KINSHICHO have a pool and sauna?

lobby

Keisei Richmond Hotel had its grand opening in Kinshicho in December 2021, and the Sumida Ward General Gymnasium is within walking distance. Even if you don't live in the ward, you can use facilities such as the indoor pool and gym for 550 yen/2 hours (130 yen/30 minutes for any additional hours). Kinshicho is also a hotbed of saunas, so I created a plan to stay in Kinshicho and enjoy the pool and sauna.

1. Access from JR Kinshicho Station

  • If you are heading to the hotel from JR Kinshicho Station, head to the South Exit.

Route 1

    • After exiting the ticket gate, head left towards the plaza and onto the footbridge with an escalator that crosses the main street intersection. The escalators seem to be out of service in the early morning and late at night, so in those cases, we recommend heading right towards the front and using the crosswalk.

    Route 2

      • Cross the crosswalk on the left side of the square and take the escalators on the right to the footbridge. You will see Exit 1 of Kinshicho Station on the Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line (with an escalator leading up to ground level) in front of you.

      Route 3

        • Once you've crossed the footbridge, turn right. (To get to the Hanzomon Metro Line, take the elevator on the left side of the footbridge.)

        Route 4

        • Go straight along the dashed line, but there are stairs to the left, and an escalator to the right, which is a bit of a detour.

        Route 5

        • Go straight.

        Route 6

          • After crossing the crosswalk, Keisei Richmond Hotel is on the corner after the second traffic light.

              • As you enter the entrance, you'll be greeted by the lobby, complete with a sofa that makes you want to sit down and take a breather. The front desk is on the right, and you check in by filling out your name, address, and contact information. You can then pick up any amenities you need from next to the elevator on the first floor.

                • The room entrance, guest rooms are on the 2nd to 12th floors, and this time I booked the "Moderate Single Room Basic Plan" on Ikyu's time sale for 8,400 yen + 13% points (1,092 yen), effectively 7,308 yen. Not only was this satisfying, but I also left a comment saying I wanted a "room with a view" on a whim, and luckily I was given a room on the 11th floor, which made me very happy...
