TOKYO PRINCE HOTEL, The Tokyo Tower was beautifully lit up

Tokyo Prince Hotel opened in 1964, the same year the Tokyo Olympics were held. It reopened in April 2017 with the concept of "enriching your stay," aiming to provide a relaxing space surrounded by the lush greenery of Shiba Park. Reviews have generally been positive, with high praise for its convenient location for sightseeing, stunning views of Tokyo Tower, delicious breakfast buffet, and hospitality. However, there have been a few negative comments about cleaning, check-in/check-out wait times, and staff service.

1. Access from Onarimon Station on the Mita Line
- At the Onarimon Station platform, take the escalator near car 2 or 5 to exit the "Idai Hospital Gate" and take the elevator to ground level (if you use the stairs at the nearest A1 exit, take the escalator near car 7 to exit the Tokyo Tower Gate).

- Exit the ticket gate and go right to the A6 exit elevator

- Get off the elevator and turn right

- Cross the traffic light and go straight. You will see the nearest exit A1 on the other side of the light.

- Turn right at the entrance to Tokyo Prince Hotel

- The hotel and the magnificent Tokyo Tower are right in front of you. It's a little far away, but if the weather is nice it's a great place to take a walk.

Note: From Onarimon Station, the closest exit is A1, but there are stairs, so if you have luggage, we recommend using the elevator at A6 exit.

2. Tokyo Prince Hotel
- As I entered the main entrance, I was greeted by beautiful artificial flowers. I had checked in beforehand, but I received a travel support coupon at the front desk.

- It's after 9 o'clock so it's empty, but there seems to be a line during peak hours.

- The elevator hall, 4th to 11th floors are guest rooms, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 11th floors are banquet halls, 3rd floor is buffet dining, and B1 is Lawson (8:00-22:00) and shops.

- This time I booked a superior double room for 21,598 yen, and it didn't guarantee a Tokyo Tower view, so I wasn't expecting much, but luckily I was given a room on the 8th floor facing the tower.

- 8th floor floor map. Tokyo Tower is at the bottom, and the further to the right you go, the better the view.

- The furniture and facilities have a slightly retro feel and are relaxing (although a bit messy).

- The view of the tower from the window is so close that you can't see the top unless you lean out. You can see the illuminated lower part even when lying in bed!

- I don't watch TV so it didn't bother me, but the small size was a surprise.

- There is no refrigerator or drink bar and it is empty.

- Tea and teacup set

- There was a mobile phone charging cable on the bedside table.

- Safety deposit box

- Amenity set in the bathroom

- dryer

- I like the closet set, the lining type because it's easy to use.

- There are slippers, irons, ironing boards, and a reception hall, so it may be a good idea for guests.

- bathtub

- Shampoos, Pola Esthe Royer

- The hotel's breakfast is available at the buffet venue on the 3rd floor, but this time we used a travel support coupon to eat at Le Pain Quotidien next door.
