Kawasaki nikko hotel & TSUTAYA Lounge 🍺🍺

Kawasaki Nikko Hotel opened in 1964 and opened a new wing in November 1983. One Harmony members receive a free morning newspaper, and if they stay 10 nights or more per year they become Royal members, receiving an upgrade for up to five nights, as well as original perks for each hotel.

By the way, Kawasaki Nikko Hotel's original Royal Membership benefits include early check-in at 1:00 p.m. and a free drink voucher at the bar lounge on night flights.

The only benefit for general members is the morning newspaper service, so I decided to try the nearby TSUTAYA lounge.

• From JR Kawasaki Station, exit through the Central South or Central North ticket gates and head towards the Central East Exit (towards Keikyu Kawasaki Station).

• Take the escalator down to the ground floor and turn right. You will see the Kawasaki Nikko Hotel building just beyond Osho.

• You might think that if you take the escalator on the right you will be at the front desk, but in fact you should take the escalator on the left and cross the traffic light.

• Cross the traffic light and the hotel entrance will be at the back right.

• I checked in at the front desk using the One Harmony member's quick check-in service, which only required confirming my name, address, and contact information. This time, I booked a "Moderate Single Room, 14m2, Non-smoking, No View" for 7,600 yen. I could choose from Nikkei, Yomiuri, and Asahi newspapers.

• This time I didn't get an upgrade, so I went to a room on the 18th floor. It's too late to regret it now, I should have gone for the "Comfort Single 14m2" which cost an extra 500 yen... I inserted my room key into the right slot and headed to my room. Can I also go to the dentist and cram school on the 6th floor?

• It's a short walk from the hotel towards Keikyu Kawasaki Station, and we head to "TSUTATA SHARE LOUNGE" on the 5th floor of Dice Building. Prices vary depending on the store, but at the Kawasaki store,
