THE KANZASHI TOKYO ASAKUSA: Highly rated for its rooftop terrace views

" THE KANZASHI TOKYO ASAKUSA " was rebranded and reopened in 2021
I was attracted by the night view from the rooftop terrace, so I searched on Ikyu and found a moderate single room (3rd to 9th floors, no view) for 6,116 yen per night (7,110 yen - 994 points), so I decided to stay there.

1. Access from Asakusa Station on the Ginza Line
- As Asakusa Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line is the last stop, so you will arrive at platform 1 or 2, and it is convenient to use the elevator at Exit 1.

- After exiting the elevator at Exit 1, go right through the shopping arcade.

- After the arcade ends, continue straight and then turn left at the corner where the road becomes narrow.

- Turn right onto Nakamise Street at Sensoji Temple.

- It is beautifully lit up at night, and as you walk along the left side you can see Sensoji Temple on your right.

- Turn left just before the parking lot at the back (the road is gravel and it is inconvenient for carry-on luggage), then turn right and go straight ahead.

- Turn left onto Kototoi Street

- It is about 900m from Asakusa Station and takes about 12 minutes to get there.

- To get to the rooftop terrace, you will need to use the elevator next door.

- There are three laundry machines in the second floor laundry room, but according to word of mouth it is quite popular and you may have to wait.

- There is also a microwave oven at the back of the laundry room.

- From the room entrance

- The bottom floor is on the west side, but there is a 12-story building next door and a 9-story building on the east side, so it seems that all rooms except for the larger rooms on the street side will have no view.

Overall ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
Since check-in was after dark, I was able to walk from the station to the hotel while enjoying the illuminated Sensoji Temple.
😄 Night view from the rooftop terrace
😄 Separate loungewear
😩 It's far from the Ginza Line station! And even farther from the Asakusa Line!!
