Shinagawa Station is under renovation work

It's still a quick story, but from 2027 onwards, barrier-free routes are planned to be gradually expanded by widening the northern concourse.

Also, around 2022, the Yamanote Line outer loop (Shibuya / Shinjuku area) and Keihin Tohoku Line (Omiya area), which currently require transfer at different platforms, will be able to transfer at the same platform on Lines 3 and 4. As a result, Platform 1 will be widened exclusively for the Yamanote Line inner loop (Shimbashi / Tokyo area).
