YOKOHAMA TOKYU REI HOTEL, opening in June 2020

The Yokohama Tokyu REI Hotel opened in June 2020. Hotels in Tokyo are expensive in April, so I decided to stay in Yokohama. Shinagawa is about 26 minutes away by JR train at Yokohama Station. Shibuya is about an hour away without transfers, or 44 minutes if you transfer to the Tokyu Toyoko Line across the street at Kikuna Station. If you can't find a reasonably priced hotel in Tokyo, I recommend considering hotels near Kawasaki and Yokohama.

4. Basic information |
1. Access from Shin-Takashima Station
- At Shin-Takashima Station on the Minatomirai Line, get off the car closest to Motomachi and take the escalator up to the ticket gate floor.

- After exiting the ticket gate, go straight and take the escalator on the right towards Exits 1 and 2.

- Go straight ahead and take exits 1 and 2. Exit 2 is the shortest route to the hotel, but it only has stairs, so we recommend taking exit 1.

- Take the escalator straight ahead (Exit 1) to ground level, or use the elevator on the left

- Once you reach ground level, turn left and head towards the main street.

- Just before you reach the main street, go up the stairs to Exit 2 and turn right onto the main street.

- The building on the corner after crossing the first traffic light is the Tokyu REI Hotel. The entrance is a little hard to find, on the right side of the building.

- The hotel entrance is about 7 minutes from getting off the train.

- The front desk is on the second floor

2. Yokohama Tokyu REI Hotel
- When you get off the elevator on the second floor, the front desk is at the back left.

- The hallway has a calm atmosphere. This time, I booked a "Standard Queen (Double)" room (19.2m2) for single use, for 10,500 yen. Recently, there are no single rooms available, and most rooms are small double rooms for one or two people.

- The guest rooms are on the 9th to 15th floors, and our room was on the 9th floor. Sorry it's out of focus...

- From the entrance of the room

- Suitcases and bags were placed there and ready to use.

- A full view of the room. Even for one person, it doesn't feel cramped at all with this size.

- The cheap looking furniture placed against the wall kind of apologetically lowers the atmosphere of the room, which is a shame.

- The TV is about 45 inches?

- Toshiba Lifestyle 27L refrigerator

- The mineral service was a canned product from Ito En.
