Enjoy making cotton candy in a street stall atmosphere at Vessel Inn Asakusa Tsukuba Express

February is exam season, so hotels in Tokyo are all expensive. The Vessel Inn Asakusa Tsukuba Express hit the spot because it was convenient to get to Haneda Airport, new, and affordable. That said, the cheapest option is around 7,000 yen, but this time I paid 11,000 yen for a 13.5 square meter comfort single room.
Although it is a new inn scheduled to open in April 2023, I was prepared for it being quite far from Asakusa Station on the Asakusa Line, about a 20-minute walk, but I decided to stay there to enjoy the food in Asakusa, which is home to many famous 100 restaurants.

2. Vessel Inn Asakusa Tsukuba Express
- It is quite far from the center of Asakusa, so although it faces a main street, there are few people other than hotel guests.

- Just like in front of Takadanobaba Station, we were given a detailed explanation, but perhaps because we didn't seem interested, there was no mention of "cotton candy"...

- Picking up amenities on the first floor. There was a full range of amenities for women.

- 14:00 - 20:00 Free drinks are served in the 1st floor lounge

- The guest rooms are located on the 2nd to 13th floors, with a laundry room and vending machines on the 1st floor, a smoking area on the 2nd floor, and a guest kitchen on the 4th floor, which is also used as a microwave, ice maker, and storage space for rental items.

- Hallway, this room is on the 5th floor

- Floor map. There are buildings of the same height on both sides, so no view from any of the rooms.

- A system where you change into slippers at the entrance (same as Vessel Inn Takadanobaba Ekimae)

- room

- Outside the window, there is a balcony, perhaps a renovated residential building (I didn't see it).

- The desk is better than the one in front of Takadanobaba Station.

- Air purifier and luggage rack

- A chair at the entrance would be convenient for taking off and putting on shoes.

- Claw Set

- Desk lamp

- Cables

- kettle

- Cups & Glasses

- The retractable side table was very useful as it was a small desk.

- Refrigerator, has a switch to turn it off when not in use

- One-piece loungewear, even within the same Vessel Inn brand, seems to have different types

- tv set

- The bathroom looks a little old, but that may be because it wasn't renovated.

- bathtub

- shower

- Shampoo & Conditioner

- toilet

- dryer

- 4th floor guest kitchen

- Rental items

- Ice maker

- 1st floor laundry room

Overall ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
There are many hotels near Asakusa, and this is my sixth stay, including those near Tawaramachi. Aside from the accessibility from the station, I'm happy that I can stay here for less than 7,000 yen on the cheapest days. It seems that unrenovated rooms can be less than 6,000 yen on some days, but I'm a little worried about that, and I don't think I'll go to that much trouble to stay there. Apparently, you can make cotton candy by adding granulated sugar to the stand in the photo (I haven't tried it yet).
😄 The standard single room (13.5m2) was spacious enough. 😄 There was a large lounge with drinks on the first floor. 😩 Asakusa Subway Station was quite far, so be prepared. 😩 Perhaps because the room was in front of the elevator, voices from the hallway could be heard all the way to the room. 😩 At check-in, we were informed that the shower would be difficult to use between 9pm and 11pm.
