Toyoko Inn Kochi opened in Feb. '26, Completing Coverage of All 47 Prefectures.

Toyoko Inn is a highly-rated business hotel. Since I was going anyway, I chose the newly opened "Toyoko Inn Kochi" that just opened in February 2026.

Since it's not available on Ikyu, I booked a "Non-smoking Single" on the official website for 11,800 yen and stayed there.

For a membership fee of 1,500 yen, you can stay at a member price that is 5% discount price, so if you plan to stay for 4 nights or more, it is recommended to join and book.

• Check-in is done using two machines at the 1F front desk. If you have any questions, you can ask the staff next to you, so you shouldn't have any trouble with the procedures. The 1F lobby has 5 desks and a drink service.

• The room size is 15㎡ with a 160cm wide bed (double room). The economy double room type has a room size of 12㎡ with a 140cm wide bed.

Overall ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Having just opened as a new building, the rooms and facilities were new and great. In particular, the hairdryer stored on the shelf next to the desk was easy to use and convenient.

It was my first time having breakfast at Toyoko Inn, and while there were some things like no rice bowl for the Japanese-style rice, the miso soup with abundant ingredients having too many ingredients and not enough soup, and only one toaster for warming bread causing a constant line, overall the breakfast was satisfying.

Although there are affiliated parking lots, there are only 8 spaces in the convenient hotel parking lot, so early reservations are recommended.

😄 The built-in hairdryer on the desk was easy to use and convenient.
😄 The clothesline in the bathroom is convenient in a pinch.
😄 Great location close to Hirome Market and Kochi Castle.

😩 The window table was dark at night, it would have been better with a ceiling light (there is a desk lamp).
