Shiba Park Hotel: Highly recommended for book lovers

Shiba Park Hotel

Shiba Park Hotel is a long-established hotel founded in 1948, 10 years before Tokyo Tower was built. It will be renovated and rebranded as the Library Hotel in January 2022.

The library is directed by Tsutaya Bookstore and features over 1,500 books on architecture, photography, and art that you won't find in regular bookstores.

While checking out time-limited sales for hotels with Diamond benefits on Ikyu, I found the Shiba Park Hotel, which was incredibly cheap. There were notices of renovations and a power outage throughout the hotel, but neither of those days were affected, so I wondered if there was a pricing error?

I stayed there feeling a little sorry and a little anxious that the room might not have been renovated.

      Overall ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

The room was not yet renovated and was a quiet room with separate bathroom and toilet, so I was able to relax.

😄 Feel free to ask questions to the staff at the hotel entrance

😄 A reading area with a fireplace (probably gas)

😄 Quiet location with little traffic

😩 There are no desks, so it's not suitable for remote work.
