Hotel Resol Yokohama Sakuragicho: Relax with Marimekko items

Hotel Resol Yokohama Sakuragicho , which can be booked for under 7,000 yen on the cheapest days and has received positive reviews

It opened in April 2019 , making it a relatively new hotel, and I had been wanting to stay there for a while, so I checked it out. I found a 14-square-meter modest room for ¥7,000 (¥6,650 after using instant points), and stayed there.

By the way, the "Moderate " is a standard room that is unique to Risor Hotels, offering a higher level of relaxation.

• From JR Sakuragicho Station ,
• Exit the New South Exit ticket gate (7:00 - 22:30 IC card only) and turn left
• Or, exit the South ticket gate and head to the East exit
• If you are coming from Bashamichi Station on the Minatomirai Line ,
• Take the stairs or elevator at Exit 1a to ground level

• Route 1) Access from JR Sakuragicho Station is convenient via the New South Exit ticket gate, but it is only available for IC use from 7:00 to 22:30, so if necessary, you will need to take a detour from the South Exit.

• Route 2) Exit the New South Exit and turn left

• Route 3) Don't go up onto the overpass, but cross the street at the traffic lights and crosswalk.

• Route 4) Cross the bridge

• Route 5) After crossing the traffic light and pedestrian crossing on the right, the hotel will be on the left corner. The entrance is a little further to the left on the main street.

• The entrance is surprisingly small and inconspicuous, so be careful when passing it by.

• The lobby space. It's small and hard to see, but the table in the back is lined with Marimekko accessories, which you can purchase.

• Front desk. I've only stayed at Risol Ikebukuro once before, so this was my first time here, but I received a polite greeting, "Thank you for always using our service."

• The view from the window makes it seem like people walking on the pedestrian deck across the street are close by. It might be better if it was on a higher floor.

It is also close to Sakuragicho Station, and convenience stores such as Seven-Eleven and Family Mart are located nearby.

Above all, it's great value for money. You can stay in a 19-square-meter twin room for around 8,000 yen, so if you have the chance, I'd like to try a larger room.

The River View Twin is 22 square meters with separate bathroom and toilet and costs around 12,000 yen.
