First experience at Hoshino Resorts, OMO7 Kochi

OMO7 Kochi by Hoshino Resorts will reopen in June 2024 as a rebranded version of Nikko Kochi Asahi Royal .

It is within walking distance to Harimayabashi Bridge, but you will need to use the tram to get around Kochi Castle, so it is a little inconvenient as a base for sightseeing.

This time, we booked two rooms for four people and planned to travel by taxi, so we booked the Utage Superior Room through Jalan for 35,200 yen.

The staircase-like space in the atrium can also be used as a venue for the Yosakoi Festival.

There are self-service lockers at the back of the lobby space to the right of the hotel entrance, where you can leave your luggage if you arrive early.

Overall ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

I usually use Ikyu to find accommodations, so I hadn't even considered Hoshino Resorts. I happened to not be able to find a suitable accommodation in Kochi, so I found this place on Jalan, and it was my first time using Hoshino Resorts.

It looks like you can get a room without a bath for around 16,000 yen, so I might bring my own drip coffee and return to take part in the events and enjoy the sauna...
