Relax in the large open-air bath on the top floor of Mitsui Garden Hotel Gotanda

Mitsui Garden Hotel is relatively expensive among business hotels, and normally the standard price is around 12,000 yen or more, but I was able to get a "Comfort Double" for single use for 8,210 yen, with a 20% cancellation charge compared to the day before, which was a good deal, so I booked it.
While the hotel has been highly praised for its large open-air bath on the top floor, its proximity to the station, and its relatively new location (opened in June 2018), there have been some comments about the hotel's lack of cleanliness. I adjusted my business to coincide with a cheaper date and stayed there.

2. Mitsui Garden Hotel Gotanda
- The front desk is on the 15th floor by elevator.

- Amenities are collected from behind the front desk, and they come in a bag that makes them easy to carry.

- Coffee and drinks are served in the lobby next to the front desk. There is also a terrace space, although it is not very large.

- In front of the elevator on the 15th floor, there is a board introducing nearby stores. I wonder if the website can be accessed by QR code. (I didn't use it, so this is just my guess...)

- Hallway, this room is "Comfort Double 18.2m2" on the 3rd floor

- The floor map is L-shaped, with the top side being south and the left side probably being east.

- From the room entrance

- The atmosphere is calm, and there are no desks, and there are no tables in the lobby either, so if you need to do desk work, you will have to use the outdoor cafe.

- Bed width 151 x 197 cm (reservation site information)

- Simple bedside

- About a 45-inch TV

- There is a charging cable in the drawer under the TV.

- It doesn't fit in the luggage rack or closet, so it's under the TV. It's convenient and can be used right away.

- There are two hooks on the wall. I used them to hang clothes, and they turned out to be surprisingly useful.

- air purifier

- In addition to the amenities I picked up, there were also cotton swabs, cotton balls, and hair bands.

- The closet contains six hangers.

- Under the closet you will find an iron, ironing board, safety box and slippers.

- In the drawer next to the closet, there is a laundry bag and a courier delivery slip.

- Drinks and ice buckets are available, and there are ice machines on each floor.

- Two cups of drip coffee and two cups of tea

- Two aluminum cans of mineral water in the refrigerator

- Separate loungewear with a pocket just large enough to fit a room key. Some people commented that it was small, but perhaps it was intentionally designed to prevent smartphones from fitting inside (they are not allowed in the large public bath).

- bathroom

- Towels, you have to carry your towels to the large bath. There are no bags or baskets. There are also some comments about this as a disappointing point.

- toilet

- dryer

- bathtub

- shower head

- Shampoo & Conditioner

- It was Kao's Reana series.

- This is what the outside of the window looks like, I never open it.

There are no restrictions on whether you are a ward or Tokyo resident, and anyone can use it.

Overall ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
It's close to the station, there's a Lawson on site, which is convenient, and the large public bath was open, so I was able to relax. The view was disappointing, but it would be nice if we could choose rooms with or without a view. The amenities were pretty average. My expectations were high, so my satisfaction level was low.
😄 Conveniently located near the station and with a convenience store on-site
😄 The large public bath was spacious and we had it almost to ourselves.
😩 If you plan on doing desk work in the hotel, be careful about the room type (moderate double rooms seem to come with or without desks)
