Hotel Mets Premier Tokyo Bay Shinkiba, just six minutes from Maihama (TDR), what makes it different from other premier brands?

Newly opened in November 2019, JR East Hotel Mets Tokyo Bay Shinkiba

A new premier brand will be added in March 2024, and in July of the same year, Shinkiba will be renamed to the " Premier Brand ."

What makes the Premier brand different, based on the concept of " a hotel where you can enjoy a higher level of soothing comfort and enrich your mind and body "?

I booked a non-smoking superior double room for one person, no meals, with a 7pm check-in for a short stay of ¥12,877.

• The ticket gates for JR, Metro, and Rinkai lines are on the 3rd floor of Shinkiba Station.
• There is one exit on the south side of Shinkiba Station, and there are several steps beyond the escalator.
• The hotel is close to the elevator, so I recommend it!

To get to the 2nd floor front desk, take the elevator in front of the entrance.

Check in at the front desk on the 2nd floor by entering your reservation number (if booking directly) or your name.

The lobby space is small and doesn't feel like a relaxing place to meet up.

The amenity corner is limited in quantity, but the face mask is premium quality ? 😊

There was also a drink corner and drip coffee in the room.

The guest rooms are on the 3rd to 10th floors, the vending machines, ice maker, and laundry are on the 9th floor, and my room was on the 5th floor, which is a relatively low floor. I should have requested a higher floor, even though I knew it would be a long shot... 😢

The bottom is on the west side (near the rotary in front of the station), and it looks like there are similar rooms on the east side as well.

The disposable types are not flimsy, and the slightly thicker slippers are premium quality ?

Since it was a double room, there were power outlets and storage spaces for small items on both sides.

The desk and window are small, which is a bit disappointing.

The small massager is premium quality , and after bathing I was able to massage my calves and arches on the bed, which was very relaxing.

We could see the night view of Tokyo and even a little bit of the Skytree, but unfortunately we weren't on the upper floors.

There were two cans of drinks and mineral water (one was moved to the refrigerator).

The GABA chocolate and CHILL OUT (made by Coca-Cola) in the refrigerator are premium quality , and are said to be relaxation drinks for stressed modern people.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time relaxing with the many premium relaxation items available, and I especially liked being able to massage various parts of my body with the small massager.

In addition to Shinkiba, four other locations will be premiered in July 2024: Sapporo, Gotanda, Akihabara, and Yokohama Sakuragicho.
