- For tickets or early morning or late night travel, go to the South Gate West Exit
- If you are using Sakuragicho Station on the Subway Blue Line, take North Exit 2 or North Exit 3

- Exit the south ticket gate of JR Sakuragicho Station and turn right towards the "West Exit"

- Go to the left of the stairs leading down to the subway and head to the intersection

- Cross the traffic light and turn left (you can also get there from inside the CIAL building)

- Go right along the CIAL building (there is a slope at the end of the stairs)

2. JR East Hotel Mets Yokohama Sakuragicho
- Take the elevator to the front desk on the third floor

- To check in, enter your full name in katakana and click "Search." (Please note that there is no search function.)

- There is an amenity corner near the check-in machine, toothbrush sets and body towels are available in the room, and there are eight types of bath salts ...

- You can also enjoy delicious coffee at the lobby behind the amenity corner.

- On the third floor, there is a microwave, ice maker, and vending machine. You can also buy a bento box at Seijo Ishii on the first floor and heat it up.

- 3rd floor laundry corner

- This time, my room was on the 5th floor. The reservation site stated that requests for a view were not possible, but I was wondering how they decide on room assignments.

- 5th floor, hallway. The guest rooms are on the 4th to 12th floors, so this is almost the bottom floor...

- Floor map. Reservations through Ikyu are for a "Superior Single Room for 1 person" for ¥8,900 - 445 points, effectively ¥8,455. Depending on the date, it seems you can stay for as little as ¥7,505.

- Desk area

- In the bottom drawer, there are glasses, cups, and a kettle.

- On the top level, there are power cables and emergency lights.

- The refrigerator is a quiet Dometec model, so it's always on and ready to use.

- The 43-inch TV and Wi-Fi connection can be completed by scanning a QR code (no password required, convenient!).

- The bed width is 140cm, and the double room is 160cm wide.

- The loungewear is a popular separate type.

- Bedside. USB and power outlet available.

- Room entrance

- Washroom space

- washbasin

- Amenities provided in the room include a body towel and a toothbrush set.

- dryer

- Washing area,

- bathtub

- Regarding the view from the window, the reservation site said, "Due to the many tall buildings in the surrounding area, there are only a limited number of rooms with a view," so I wasn't expecting a great view, but it was fine. (I'm not sure about the JR station side, though.)

- Morning view, floor-to-ceiling windows create a sense of openness

Overall ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
There aren't many other accommodations with separate bathrooms and toilets for under 10,000 yen, and that are also relatively new. Traveling to Shinagawa via the Keihin-Tohoku Line takes about 34 minutes and costs 406 yen, with no transfers. You can often find a seat along the way, so I think it's a great value for money.
😄 Anyway, it's close to the station
😄 Separate bathroom and toilet is really relaxing
😄 The big windows are nice
😄 WIFI & Domestic Refrigerator that can be set up without a password via QR code
😄 1F Seijo Ishii, 2F Starbucks
😩 There is no convenience store nearby, so you have to walk a little across the traffic lights.
