Mitsui Garden Hotel Jingu Gaien: All rooms have balconies overlooking the National Stadium

I had been wanting to stay at Mitsui Garden Hotel Jingu Gaien Premier for a while and had been checking it out.

At the Mitsui Garden Hotel in Gotanda (review here ), I was disappointed to find that my room on a lower floor had no view, but at Jingu Gaien...

The reviews are generally positive,

"I want to stay again"

"You can take a rest"

"Comfortable space"

"Urban Oasis" and more.

Among the low ratings are

"The towel is rough"

"Inadequate cleaning"

"Long queue at check-in"...I guess it's okay on weekdays

"Disappointing breakfast"...I don't use it because I check out early.

Although there were some concerns, I found a moderate single room (18 square meters with balcony) for two people for 24,040 yen, or 20,680 yen after using Ikyu points immediately, and made the reservation.

It's rare for the price to go under 20,000 yen, so we booked dinner in Aoyama and stayed overnight.

• If coming from National Stadium Station on the Toei Oedo Line ,
• Exit A1 (first train to 22:00) is the closest (there are some stairs on the way back down).
• If you are using the escalator/elevator, exit A2 is convenient.
• From JR Sendagaya Station ,
• Exit the ticket gate and turn left
• There are no convenience stores near the hotel, and the nearest one is the NewDays at the station.

• The Shuto Expressway runs to the lower right towards Shinjuku, but we didn't notice any noise from the 10th floor.

Overall ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Even when using the large public bath (which I didn't), you have to bring your own towels with you, but unfortunately the towels were quite stiff and there were no bath salts, so it wasn't a very comfortable bath.

The bathroom and toilet are separate, and the 18 square meter room was cramped for two people, even with a balcony, so I would recommend a moderate-type room for an additional 2,000 to 3,000 yen. Also, although I didn't have breakfast this time, it seems that breakfast on the garden terrace is popular when the weather is nice.
