When hotels in Tokyo are expensive, you can often find affordable prices by expanding your search to Yokohama .

The hotel has received positive reviews, and if you're lucky you can even see a beautiful night view of the Ferris wheel, but this time I booked a single room with no view (room only plan) for 5,900 yen via direct booking.

1. Access from the station

From Bashamichi Station on the Minatomirai Line,
Exit the ticket gate and take the escalator or elevator at Exit 4 to ground level
Head towards Hammerhead and Bankokubashi and you will see the hotel on your left
From JR Sakuragicho Station ,
The Shin-Minami Exit is the closest, but we recommend heading from the East Exit along the Kishamichi Road (a bit of a detour).

2. APA Hotel & Resort Yokohama Bay Tower

Enter the hotel and you will be in front of the check-in counter on the first floor. For one-second check-in, simply hold the QR code from the app up to the machine in front and your room key will be issued.

This time , the room was on the 26th floor. The guest rooms are on the 5th to 35th floors , B1F : Parking (2,500 yen per night), 1F : Shops, 3F : Restaurant, smoking area, 4F : Pool, convenience store, beauty salon, gym, large public bath, 35F : Observation restaurant

Overall ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

If you're lucky, you might get a room on a high floor with a view of the Ferris wheel or the Bay Bridge. This time, I booked a room with a good view because it was my second time booking directly with APA, but even without a view, it's still cheaper than other business hotels, so I guess it makes sense.

😄 If you're lucky, you might get a room with a great view. 😄 The convenience store in the hotel is easily accessible. 😄 Check-in and check-out are hassle-free (common to APA hotels).

😢 It's far from the JR station 😢 I wish there was a sauna rather than a pool.
