APA HOTEL Kamata Ekimae 362, re-opened in September 2022

APA Hotel Kamata Ekimae will reopen on September 28, 2022, as a rebranded version of Nishitetsu Inn Kamata (opened in May 2009) . Conveniently located just a three-minute walk from the west exit of JR Kamata Station , the hotel will feature 142 guest rooms and the latest APA Hotel standard amenities (50-inch LCD TVs, free VOD, etc.).

This time I booked directly and stayed at the hotel for 5,400 yen (4,400 yen after the preferential discount).

• Exit the west exit of JR Kamata Station and head towards Sunrise Mall Shopping Street
• Turn right at the first intersection and you will see the APA Hotel on your left.

There are also a few chairs on the left side of the lobby space.

Check-in. If you have prepaid and booked directly with APA and selected 1-second check-in, simply hold the QR code over the screen on the right and your room key and receipt will be printed out.

Floor guide. This time, I was on the 4th floor, a low floor. At APA Hotels, even if you make a direct reservation, you are always on a low floor the first time. From experience, it seems like if you stay at the same hotel several times, you gradually move to a higher floor.

Overall ⭐️ ⭐️

It is a little far from the Keikyu Line, so it is not recommended for those travelling to Haneda Airport, but if you go through the arcade from JR Kamata Station you can access it without getting too wet in light rain.

The bathroom had a washing area, but there was a smell of drainage so I only used the shower.

😄 Bathroom with washing area 😄 It was comfortable because the wallpaper was not APA standard 😄 If you are in trouble with accommodation, check out APA. This time I was able to stay for a bargain price of 4,400 yen.

😢 The bathroom had a slight drainage smell. 😢 There was a low-pitched noise coming from somewhere at night. 😢 No view (maybe only rooms with a shower area)
