AGORA PLACE TOKYO ASAKUSA

Located in the Asakusa area, which is popular with foreign tourists, Agora Place Tokyo Asakusa is highly rated for its convenient location near the station, but reviews have been divided over the fact that the rooms are old-fashioned and not very clean. I decided to stay there because the semi-double room for single use was a bargain at 7,700 yen.

1. Access from Tawaramachi Station on the Ginza Line
- From the Asakusa-bound platform at Tawaramachi Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line, take the elevator near car 3 to ground level and turn left towards Sensoji Temple (there are no escalators at Tawaramachi Station, so if you are using a car, we recommend using the elevator).

- Cross the road to the right at Kotobuki 4-chome intersection

- Cross the intersection and go straight ahead

- Agora Place Tokyo Asakusa is on the first corner, and you can arrive there in just under 3 minutes after exiting the station ticket gate.

- Hotel location
Note: Transferring between the Ginza Line and the Asakusa Line at Asakusa Station is difficult due to the many stairs, so we recommend walking from Kuramae Station.

2. Agora Place Tokyo Asakusa
- I had paid in advance with my card at the front desk, but I was asked to pay and had to wait a little while for confirmation, but I was able to check in without any problems.

- Paid amenities, original mask sets, disinfectant wipes, etc. are available next to the front desk, but toothbrush sets and other items are provided in the rooms.

- There are no vending machines or alcoholic beverages on the second floor, but there are two microwave ovens nearby.

- There is an ice machine in front of the laundry room on the 3rd floor.

- The guest rooms are on the 3rd to 10th floors, with standard semi-double rooms on the 6th floor (12m2), The room had a 123cm wide bed, and with a 7,700 yen travel support discount and instant use of Ikyu points, it was 6,037 yen.

- The floor map of the 6th floor. The left side is on the street side, and the hotel is on a corner, so I think that all rooms have windows with a certain amount of light.

- Sorry it's out of focus.

- The desk area must be quite cramped for two people.

- This closet is just big enough to fit one person.

- slippers

- The hair dryer on the desk has a stand so you can conveniently put it down after use.

- Delonghi water heater

- The refrigerator was large and cold. If you're staying for multiple nights, you can stock up on supplies (the shelves can be moved, so you can fit large items).

- Is it a place with a lot of foreigners? There is also a safe.

- My pajamas and futon were so thin that I had to wear heat tech underwear and socks underneath my pajamas at night, and I even turned up the temperature to 23 degrees before I could finally sleep.

- bathroom

- The sink is sandwiched between the wall and the shower room on the right, so it's so narrow you can't fit your whole body in...

- shower head

- Shampoo, conditioner, body soap

- A botanical series like this

- The view from the window where you can see the morning sun

- For breakfast, I chose a Komeda Coffee breakfast. They had a breakfast coupon for the APA Hotel. Coffee was ¥570. The price of Komeda Coffee coffee varies depending on the store.

- Souvenirs purchased at Haneda Airport using the "Tadaima Tokyo Plus" coupon (NY Caramel Sandwich, Mangando Imokin, Uokyu Kasuzuke)

😄 Easy-to-use hair dryer and large refrigerator
😄 Excellent, but the amenity plan can be added as needed (it's a shame you can't check the selection in advance on the website).
The bathroom space was small and difficult to use
😩 The closet is narrow and I don't think it can fit two people, especially in winter.
😩 Maybe because my futon was thin and I had the heating set too high, I had a sore throat the next morning (maybe it would have been better to sleep with a mask on in times like this...)
😩 The toilet washer is out of order and unavailable.
